Ever thought about becoming a School Governor?

We are looking for someone to join our strong governing body as a co-opted governor.  We want someone who is not linked to our school but would be interested in ‘giving something back’ to the local community.  We are particularly looking for someone who has finance experience to bring to our governing body.

Can you support the work we do, have you got some time to attend meetings, do you have relevant skills that you could bring to the school?  Can you commit to approximately 6 meetings a year, undertake relevant training and occasionally visit the school to support with monitoring activities?
